Response to sonnet 18

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? 
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date: 
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd; 
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest: 
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.






This poem is about Shakespeare lover. He is saying that as long as people read this poem so will her/him.The Beauty of nature will always get destroyed but not her beauty.This is a very important sonnet for Shakespeare because it shows how much he loves her/him.

           This Picture is like a big celebration but in the corners all the bad things and i think that Rivera was trying to show that theirs always people partying and the other ones are suffering. He thinks that life is not fair but at the same time life is like that over there in Mexico.

Friends Come And Go Dont You Know ?

   In the book If I Grow Up by Todd Strasser friends come and go each time, Deshawn the Character shows it perfectly his friends Go away because of violence this book is the life in the projects. Many people call them names but they have no choice but to do what they have to or else they die. People dont think that the people of the project are dumb but its not like that Deshawn is actually smart and his best friend Terrel takes him to the danger life and this is when he sees the world different. Deshawn does everything he could once he joins a gang but his so called friends back stab him talk about him and dont respect and he learns whose his real friend and some of them just got shot down
